Reem Untangled

High Tea Baby Shower

So while I’ve been away, I’ve helped plan a couple of parties. Mostly baby showers for close friends. The latest was a high tea themed baby shower. We had so much fun putting it together and it turned out amazing! We decided to do a long table with place settings for a true high tea feel.

I love the little details of the pink doilies, and flower arrangements in tea pots. The cute flowery napkins were adorable. The table setting was beautiful. I love how all the food was a different tier. It gave height and depth to the table.

We had baked brie, pasta salad, chicken salad sandwiches, cucumber sandwiches, salmon sandwiches, artichoke spinach tarts, meatballs for the savory. For the more dessert, we had blueberry scones, fresh fruit, macaroons, lacey cookies. And for the cake we went for a naked style cake.

Of course, can’t forget the tea station at a tea party.

The favors were tea bags in little white sachets with a cute little tag on the outside that read “A baby girl is brewing.”

It all came together beautifully. I love planning parties and seeing them come together! I’ll keep you updated on any other parties I plan… Stay tuned!
